Had the decision been his alone, Vytenis Buzas says he would probably never have sold NanoAvionics to the Norwegian behemoth Kongsberg.

But by 2022, his own interests were no longer the only ones that mattered.

The company he had co-founded eight years earlier now employed around 350 people. It had customers depending on it, ambitions that required greater industrial muscle, and shareholders with a say in what came next.
